BHPR health professional bursary

This prestigious annual award is presented to an applicant who in the opinion of the judging panel is deemed to have submitted a piece of work that is of outstanding quality for a person at this stage in their career and be directly relevant to rheumatology.

There is one BHPR student / recently qualified health professional bursary available each year.

The winner will receive up to £500 expenses entitlement to be used on the following


Conference registration
Up to 2 nights' accommodation
UK economy travel (no subsistence)

Rules and eligibility
  1. Applicants do not have to be a BSR or BHPR member
  2. Applicants must be either a student in the UK or be within one year of completing their degree at the time of submission
  3. The work being submitted must have been completed as part of either their pre-registration training, or a subsequent Masters level degree
  4. Work conducted as part of doctoral level study is not eligible
