The British Society for Rheumatology (BSR) is a membership organisation for rheumatologists and other rheumatology and musculoskeletal care professionals. We nurture, support and represent our members throughout their career. We innovate, collectively and collaboratively. The end result improves the care our members provide for people living with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases.
We work hard to bring the best benefits, opportunities and knowledge sharing to our 2500+ members and across all job levels, whether they’re an experienced professional or just beginning their career.
Research and science are at the forefront of our work as a society and the work of our members. Whether it’s drug efficacy, clinical guidelines, academic conferences and more, we exist to innovate and drive improvements in patient care.
Rheumatology is a rapidly evolving and complex medical speciality within an ever changing healthcare environment. We work hard on behalf of our members to lobby policymakers, to raise the profile of the profession and ensure rheumatology services are protected.
