The Research Visiting Fellowship provides hands-on experience delivered by eight leading experts in rheumatological research at recognised centres of excellence.

Up to £1000 is available per person to cover accommodation/travel expenses to the research centre.

On completion of the fellowship you will have increased your knowledge and been exposed to some of the following activities:

  • Specialist research clinics covering various rheumatological conditions

  • Electronic data collection from routine clinics providing data for research studies

  • Clinical trials experience and laboratory exposure in early phase studies

  • University research group, departmental and clinical fellow meetings

  • 1:1s with different principal investigators to learn about their research

  • Discussion of possible funding sources to support undertaking future research projects
