This webinar delivers a curriculum-based update on what you need to know about developmentally appropriate healthcare in adult rheumatology clinics, looking at the adolescent brain, adolescent behaviours and how to adapt the consultation for young people in this age group.
The topic is designed for trainees but the entire multidisciplinary team is welcome to attend.
Learning objectives:- Develop a better understanding of rheumatology care for adolescent patients undergoing transition to adult clinics
- Gain knowledge on how treatment strategies may need to be tailored in this patient group until full adulthood is attained
