Clinical Affairs Committee
Overview
The Clinical Affairs Committee is responsible for clinical engagement and input into BSR’s proactive and reactive public policy agenda.
The committee provides expert advice on matters requiring clinical guidance, supports advocacy and campaigning work, responds to relevant consultations, proactive in its national work to influence changes in policy or practice in rheumatology and providing external representation where required, delegates requests for new guidance to the relevant working group and supports BSR to effectively communicate with members about changes in policy and practice determined at a national-level, considering what is needed for implementation. They are also responsible for clinical audit and overseeing the work of the
