The Headstart Fellowship is an exclusive opportunity to enjoy a fully funded fellowship with University Hospital Aintree. As a merging trust, they have advantages and expertise from two established rheumatology units – which you'll get for the price of one.
University Hospital Aintree is a regional specialist centre for rheumatology and one of only three national centres for Behçet's. It has a Best Practice Award-winning early arthritis clinic, an established ultrasound service and many other innovative clinics that they are keen to share with you.
This fellowship will be delivered using a mixture of lectures, workshops and hands-on experience in clinical settings. At the end of this fellowship you will have increased your knowledge and skills in:
How to plan and implement a clinical merger
How to plan, manage and implement specialist and innovative services
How to contribute to clinical research
Working with and developing the MDT
