Developed by clinical and research leaders in foot and ankle rheumatology, this programme offers the opportunity to refresh your knowledge about the foot and ankle in health and disease and gain confidence in assessing and managing foot and ankle disorders in rheumatology.

Learning objectives

  • To provide attendees with a refresher of foot and ankle anatomy
  • To improve attendees’ knowledge of how rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (including inflammatory arthritis, osteoarthritis, connective tissue diseases, and plantar fasciitis) present in the foot and ankle
  • To ensure attendees understand the role of the multidisciplinary team within foot and ankle rheumatology services
  • To provide attendees with an in-depth overview of conservative, pharmacological and surgical treatment options for foot and ankle disorders in rheumatology
  • To improve attendees’ skills and confidence in assessing and managing the foot and ankle in rheumatology
