Taught at an advanced level, this course is ideally suited to clinical nurse specialists and allied health professionals in rheumatology working at an experienced level.

Taught through interactive lectures and hands on practical workshops, it is a great opportunity to enhance your knowledge and introduce advanced skills in your everyday practice. 

The programme focuses on exploring spondyloarthropathies and covers topics such as prescription for comorbidities, abnormal liver tests, practical spine examination, leadership and service improvement. 

By the end of the course the delegates should be able to:

1. Recognise the key clinical, social and economic drivers behind Spondyloarthropathy treatment strategies
2. Employ effective clinical assessment skills in both clinical settings, and virtual environments in order to formulate effective treatment strategies
3. Demonstrate practical abilities in the assessment of Spondyloarthropathies including spine and multisystem manifestations
4. Formulate a personal and service engagement leadership strategy to enhance and support both career and service development 
5. Identify important multisystem clinical features of Spondyloarthropathies relevant to advanced and autonomous clinical practice in day-to-day clinical encounters, including red flags and dermatological manifestations
