This curriculum-based webinar focuses on osteoporosis, looking at fracture risk, diagnostic steps in assessment, therapeutic options and more.
The topic is designed for trainees but the entire multidisciplinary team is welcome to attend.
Learning objectives:
Develop a better understanding of the range of osteoporosis and fracture risk
Discuss the importance of fracture risk assessment and how this may influence management strategies
Gain knowledge on diagnostic steps in assessing for osteoporosis including discussion about DEXA interpretation
Gain knowledge on the current therapeutic options
Provide insight on how to utilize the MDT in optimizing care in these patients
