We were deeply saddened to hear that Prof Justin Mason passed away in May 2022. Justin was Professor of Vascular Rheumatology at Imperial College London and Co-Head of the Cardiovascular Division in the National Heart and Lung Institute.
He was a distinguished and active member of BSR, delivering the 2018 Annual Conference Heberden Oration and hosting the Vasculitis Fellowship later that year. He was an outstanding researcher and clinician, and an international authority on large-vessel vasculitis.
