The National Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) Quality Improvement (QI) Collaborative is an exciting new BSR-funded programme, aiming to improve the quality of care for children and young people with new-onset JIA living across the UK.

Working with selected paediatric and adolescent rheumatology centres, we'll use an improvement collaborative model to come together in lively peer-learning events across 18 months to share ideas, learn QI methodology and work towards improving patient care. Based on co-production with children, young people and their families, we'll establish a joint improvement aim and collect data to measure success.

We'll support clinical leads Dr Flora McErlane and Dr Gavin Cleary in running the programme, with technical support coming from RUBIS.Qi, Northumbria Healthcare NHS Trust’s improvement team.

Join us for an engagement event and facilitated workshop on the structure and aims of the collaborative at Annual Conference on Tuesday 26 April 13:25-14:55.
