Following extensive discussion regarding the Quality Review Scheme, our Board of Trustees has taken the difficult decision to discontinue the scheme. The concept of the accreditation scheme was started in 2017, a very different time to where we are now, and considering all the pressures on the NHS it was felt that the scheme is no longer fit for purpose.
The scheme will be closed at the end of this month, 31 January 2024.
We would like to thank everyone who has been involved in QRS, particularly the pilot sites, and assessors. Improving services is still very much in our long-term strategy and we will continue to support our members with quality improvement resources.
