Our leading international Rheumatology Journal has an impact factor of over seven, with over 2,500 submissions annually. With the current Editor-in-Chief Marwan Bukhari’s term coming to an end, the journal is now seeking a new Editor-in-Chief.
The Journal is keen to remain at the forefront of innovation in publishing and now hosts a regular podcast series, creates educational modules supporting best practices in research, and has a popular social media presence. The Editor-in-Chief is critical to the success of the journal, working with the Society and Publisher to drive innovation while ensuring it remains a leading source of rheumatology research, commentary, and analysis. They are a champion for both the journal and BSR.
The Editor-in-Chief role is open internationally. It is hands-on and integral to the success of the Journal, requiring approximately 3.5 hours a week, plus meetings where applicable, and occasional travel. It carries a competitive honorarium accordingly.
The deadline for this post is Friday 9 June.
