We’re looking for consultant members to join our new panel where you’ll work closely with the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) to review job descriptions and job roles for consultant, honorary consultant, and specialty doctor posts in England, Northern Ireland, and Wales.
As a Regional Specialty Advisor (RSA) you will:
- review job descriptions for consultant, honorary consultant, and specialty doctor posts
- provide advice;
- support local areas where a consultant is not available to review;
- liaise with the MDT Advisory Council in your local area/nation regularly.
RSAs are also invited to become fellowship grading panel members; this involves reviewing, assessing, and grading nominations for fellowship, adhering to guidelines and criteria set out by the Royal College of Physicians.
We require RSAs in the following regions: East Midlands (North), Kent, Surrey and Sussex, Oxford, Severn, Wessex
Important information:
- Eligibility: Full-time/part-time consultant physicians with at least 1-2 years' consultant experience
- Time commitment: up to one day per month
- Duration: Two years from the date of joining the panel
