The BSR Standards, Audit and Guidelines Working Group (SAGWG), overseen by the Clinical Affairs Committee, has undergone a name change to become the 'Guidelines Steering Group' (GSG).
Ian Giles, chair of the GSG, said, “We believe that the group’s new name better reflects the important and major focus of our work in driving the BSR’s extensive guideline programme”.
The multi-professional working group meets twice a year and oversees the development of our gold-standard clinical guidelines. The group reviews all our guidelines, guideline updates, and guideline scope documents prior to publication.
GSG members also have a role in supporting the active dissemination of our guidelines and associated resources to members and encouraging and supporting members to embed these in their practice.
